Owner and Property Services Manager
Chris is a third-generation Montanan and founder of Back Nine Properties. Born and raised in Montana, Chris brings a deep-rooted understanding of the land, the lifestyle, and the unique needs of seasonal homeowners in Big Sky Country.
With nearly three decades of experience in engineering and operations, Chris built Back Nine Properties on a foundation of precision, trust, and high-touch service. His team offers discreet, concierge-level property care—from weekly walkthroughs and storm checks to pre-arrival grocery stocking, coordinating routine maintenance, and setting up homes for new owners. Every detail is managed with the goal of delivering seamless comfort and peace of mind, even when homeowners are hundreds of miles away.
Chris is a hands-on owner who values relationships and knows what it means to be a good neighbor. His intimate knowledge of the region, combined with his commitment to excellence, has made Back Nine Properties a trusted partner for discerning clients seeking first-class home care in Montana.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys coaching his three daughters in basketball, skiing Big Sky, mountain biking local trails, and upland bird hunting with his Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Sage. He and his wife Tara—whom he met in the second grade—recently celebrated 25 years of marriage and continue to build a life grounded in family, hard work, and the Montana way of life.
